Human Beings are imperfect, as is their torah-knowledge. This leads to problems in communication between some Rabeim and the people of Israel. The Torah is perfect, however, and the faults of the rabbis should not put you off to the Torah.
And regarding: "Meretz Chairman Yossi Beilin told him that it should be the Interior Minister who decides who is Jewish and who is not, not a rabbi..."
Beilin also advocates that children should diagnose and treat animal illness instead of vets, and high school dropouts should take the place of doctors.
Perhaps someone with Down`s syndrome should take the place of the honored MK. |
