| Germany has a law of return. Until not too long ago, any German ethnic could immigrate to Germany and receive full German citizenship. Anyone who visited Germany since the fall of the Soviet Union may have noticed a large amounts of Russian looking people in Germany. Yet you might ask, how can the facial features of these people be Slavic when many of them can be verifiably shown to be member of the German "race"? Well, the funny thing about genetics is that one generation can significantly alter features. So there are several possibilities for a German man who marries and has children with a Slavic Russian woman. 1. His children are German because of him. 2. His children are Russian because of his wife. 3. His children are German if they adopt dad`s culture, Russian if they adopt mom`s and Russo-German if they adopt a mix. 4.
