| Israel has certainly spat in his face enough for him to get the message that they have no intention of arriving at a two state solution as envisioned by the palestinians. Israel will give up what it wants to give up which will be next to nothing. That is clear for any observer to see. How many of the more than 120 illegal outposts have come down in the past two yrs? How many since Annapolis? How many have gone up or are in the process of going up? How many times have all negotiating parties come away from the talks thinking all were on the same page only to find as soon as Israel arrives home they spin the definitions differenly from the common understanding? So what will bush do? And cheney? One thinks he is in Jerusalem to talk tough on Iran, a message Israel is panting to hear, but for any accountabilty demanded of Israel? Don`t hold your breathe. |
