Mark, if qassams can be manufactured with any materials found in a civilized place, it would seem that Pals could not manufacture qassams.
Bobby, Israel could stop that qassams in an hours worth of bombing. They wouldn`t do that because they won`t indiscriminately kill civilians. Anyway, I think the new Chief is talking about a new military occupation, much like the West Bank. Over time that would very substantially erode Hamas`s capabilities and indeed Hamas itself. The interesting thing is that whatever the strategy that is adopted, the moral responsibility lies with Hamas. Israel wouldn`t be breathing in a west direction were it not for Hamas`s desire to murder Jews, destroy Israel and then be free to impose a viscious theocratic regime.
