MB: "I have two words for you: land-theft and settlements."
You forget that as far as Jean van Daem is concerned the land belongs to the Jews.
So Israel simply stole it back on behalf of all Jews everywhere.
Because, you know, those Jews own it and even when they didn`t own it, they owned it.
So when the State of Israel - which never owned it - decided to steal it, well, that can be justified because: The Jews own it. The Jews want it back. Israel was just acting as their agent. that this was quite alright and perfectly above-board.
This all works (!!) in Jean`s mind because of the seamless switch between "Jews" and "Israel" i.e. the two terms are used interchangeably when it is convenient, and is distinguished one from the other when it is not.
Because you can justify any action if you happen to be immune to cognitive dissonance, and zionists like Jean gave themselves that antidote a loooong time ago. |
