| Just as in the Soviet block, democracy is the first victim of far left ideaology. They only acept democratic ideas when it serves them, and then scorn the "hawkish" public, who are awakening from the trance induced by the promises of "peace" since Oslo - a peace which has shed much more blood than the lack of "peace" which preceded the Oslo disaster. The second undeclared goal of the left, is to disarm Israel and dismantle the IDF. Hence the very small and ineffective incursions of the Kadima givernment into Gaza are blasted as being "rightist" policies. The meretz/beillin/Benziman answer to terror is to withdraw form more territory, and if then the terror continues, woudl eb total surrender. That is why they despize the Israeli military, the right wing, and the Jewish identity of the State. It is also why they despize the voters. |
