"Air power continues to constitute a key part of IDF operations in Gaza."

Mustn`t expose the useless powder-puffs of the IDF to any risk, of course.
Better stick to the cowardly murders from the air.
Sadly for Israel they will, at some point, have to commit to a major assault on Gaza if they want the rockets to stop falling on Sderot and Ashkelon, and at this point they will be made to feel real pain.
The IDF will perform very badly in close-up and dirty fighting in crowded alleyways and streets.
Air power and artillery will simply reduce mobility and make the job of the IDF far more difficult, as the Germans found in the battle for Stalingrad.
The most ominous fact for Israel is that the two IDF soldiers who were killed in the last incursion into Gaza were shot AT POINT BLANK RANGE.
