I read your post, ras, and I see you are full of good intentions and wisdom. Why keep Judaism for Jews? Because it is not a religion but a tribe; open to others (conversion) but a tribe nevertheless. That is very hard to live in this day and age. I don`t object reaching out to Gentiles married or about-to-marry Jews and explain them in a non compulsory way the beauties of Judaism. But I don`t see a dissolution of our tribal perimeter as something that blesses us. It is the end of us. And that I will fight to my last drop of blood.
