| To Israeli Arabs: look around you. Do you wnat an Egypt or an Iraq or a Syria? Be graeful you live in a democracy and that you have representation in the Knesset. Be grateful for the many, many freedoms and opportunities you ahve in Israel. If yu push to make Israel more like the Arab countries around you and you succedd, waht will you have accomplished for yourself and for your families? You can choose now to depart Israel if you find it so offensive to live there. You have that option. But, if you choose to remain there, then you have an obligation to support the State and be loyal to it, even though it may not be perfect in your eyes. All of this is true for me in America. I choose to live here and support my country, even though there are things that could be improved. |
