| The Chinese can talk all they want about `hurt feelings` and the essential role `politeness` has in their culture, fact remains they oppress the peace-loving Bhuddist people of Tibet brutally on every level of life, socially, religiously, culturally, economically, politically. But a boycott of Olympics would work very escalating and not constructive. It will strengthen the hardliners in China and create more oppression. Raising the issue and embarassing them is better. |
