It should be dealt with through:
Showing political courage and oppose openly those extremist elements in Islam. Unfortunately, when these elements show up, the rest of the Islamic world in the best case shuts up and in the worst, joins them, painting the image they currently have.
The solution does not lie with the education of the west but in changing they very own attitudes.
Even this conference is out of touch with reality if they truly want to change something. It seems as if the Israelis like to play "kill the Palis" while the poor Palestinians are doing their own business, when on the field the reality is different and very complex.
They are a joke and they will keep being a joke until they themselves change. |
