I have always been interested in judaism and kept the shabat. When i entered into a relationship with a traditional israeli jew it was clear that i would convert to judaism and i was looking forward to learning about this deep and spiritual faith, started to visit the synagogue, and tried to get the conversion process started, in Israel. however, the longer i was in the process of starting the process, the less i appreciated what the judaism i was supposed to learn stood for. rabbis telling me non jews resemble animals, while i sit smiling, not a soul in the synagogue speaking to me for half a year (i stopped going at some point), reading about the horrible way the rabbis are treating women.now that my relationship collapsed after 3,5 years, i have to say, jews, just stick with other jews, because it surely sucks how non jews are treated, but maybe in a few more decades youll get it. to non jews: dont do it, its not worth it, you dont deserve to be treated like that.
