| We had a similar case in Canada - they are everywhere, alas - about 2 decades ago when one of my gay friends was trying to adopt a child. I had the usual unthinking prejudices against his being allowed to do so, even though every intelligent person knows that there is not the slightest relationship between gays and pedophiles, but I suddenly realized "My friend would be a far better parent that these villains, yet he must undergo a test and they can breed children for torture purposes without having to ask anyone`s permission; that is absurd." A flash of insight that has never left me. |
