The German Chancellor, a position Hitler once occupied, is one of the few foreign leaders given the honor to address the Knesset. Relations in all spheres, including trade and economic ties, will be greatly strengthened between the two countries. A proliferation of trade links between the two will be especially beneficial for Israel as Germany is one of the economic powerhouses of the world.
