| It`s nice to see that Israelis are concerned about trees. Yet nearly one million olive trees have been uprooted in the West Bank to build the Apartheid Wall, to grab Palestinian land, and to uproot Palestinian communities. Many of these century old trees have found their way to the gardens of Savyon, and to the parks and gardens of the illegal settlements of Maale Adumim, Ariel, etc.It is even against Jewish law to uproot fruit trees, even during wars. Yet the settlers, even the Gush Emunim, destroy and steal olive trees from Palestinian land. The effect on the environment is terrible. When are Israelis going to stop the IDF and the Civil Administration from carrying out these criminal acts? |
