This is a perfect opportunity for Israel to pay back its foreign debt to the US and wean itself from dependency on Uncle Sam. Just print more shekels, take advantage of the low USD exchange rate, and very cheaply pay back the debt. The shekel is strong so it can handle the slight devaluation that would result.
