| P: "Stop killing Israelis and the IDF will leave you alone." Care to define the term "leave you alone"? Do you mean: if Hamas and IJ stop killing Israelis then Israel will stop killing them? Debatable, PlanoStu, but even if we accept that as a self-evident truth then is that really the same as "leaving them alone"? The IDF will still be the occupying power, and Israel has shown no signs that it is interested in "leaving the West Bank alone", because it insists that it must be allowed to KEEP some of the West Bank - and all of Jerusalem - no matter wether the Pals resist or not. It says it ain`t budging from that demand, and the violence - or any future lack thereof - won`t change that. |
