Israeli writers are honoured is the clearest indicator why there will be a long, very long waoit for peace between Israel,the Jewish State and Arab world. The Arab State boycot is collective punishment against Jewish israelis. Arab Sates do not differentiate between writers who organized Peace Now mowvement and witers who may be against giving up West Bamk Settlements.
It seems that Arab leaders prefer to keep their masses,blind,deaf and barefoot about Israeli Jews and against Jews at large.
Few years ago a UN Committee to studied the cultural affairs and education among of Arab States. The committee found that Greece,with a pop.of 8 millon people prints more books,both Greek and translations,than the whole Arab World.Arab States publish Koran mainly and educate their children on Quran only since the age of 3 in Midrashas religious schools.Arab rulers want to keep the masses stupid and educated only on Quran.
Peace between Israel and Arabs will not happen for generations. Very sad |
