| I once suggested that the answer to the problem of recruiting people to fight the Iraq and Afghanistan wars should be that we draft Republicans. I also suggested that since Republicans wanted the war, that the answer to paying for it was to tax Republicans 100% of the cost. I was told that any suggestion that those who want a war should pay for it was "communist." I got it. Those who want a war think others should serve in it, and their grand children should pay for it. That is the `conservative` way. God forbid that those who lust for war should serve in it, or pay for it. Only a godless commie liberal should do either. |
