You must not live here or you`d know this as a fact. Soldiers risk their lives for us all the time - I`ve seen it firsthand. They know how to respond to a terror incident better than police. Even the 18 year old kids jump into action! I have never been more impressed or surprised than when I had the sad chance to see some 18 year old kids go from chatting about their weekend at the Hadera bus station to dropping everything and taking charge when the terrorist slammed his bomb-laden car into the bus in front of us, outside the Central Bus Station. I`ve seen them in action in Jerusalem and all over the country. They`re chatting like kids and then -in a split second- they are professional, fast and smart - risking their lives for us.
