The US and EU cannot allow Israel to once again violate the Road Map by expanding more illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank, especially since Israel has yet to even dismantle a single illegal outpost. Israel must be told in no uncertain terms that it will lose US economic and military aid and face painful economic sanctions if it continues with its plan.
It must be made clear by the Quartet that failure by either side to willfully meet its Road Map obligations and/or any intentional attempts to derail the Road Map wull result in some form of punishment being levied by the Quartet. |
