I`m not sure where I was anti-Hellenist, but as a progressive sort I woud like to know if and when I crossed a line.

I do know that criticizing Greek food or trying to generalize to the Greek people for lousy service or portions in a Greek restuarant is inappropriate.

I have eaten in Greek restaurants and had fine service and portions. This is all well and good, but it does not address the issue of:

1. Greek Cypriots voting against reunification then trying to economically shut off North Cyprus.

2. Cyprus recognizing Palestine then criticizing Israel for allowing a trade office for North Cyprus to open in TLV. It is not like they are opening an embassy!

3. Greek Cyprus failure to acknowledge their role in the conflict i.e. ethnic cleansing of ethnic Turks from South Cyprus, the presence of Greek soliders on the island or the 1970`s Greek Junta that led to the crisis in the first place.

4. Turks are not innocent either, but at least voted for reunification.
