she really should have decided on a better course of action. as education minister she has every right to visit the yeshiva, but a little common sense from professor tamir would have gone a long way in defusing the event. the move was obviously to stir emotions, and was proven by the fact that tamir entered parts of the yeshiva that are not under her jurisdiction and was warened not to go to enflame emotions. then as she was returning to her car after the abuse (which i dont condone) she waited and dawdled for a few minutes and made no attempt to get into her car. this is clearly because it gave her more press so she could feign more outrage. why do we hear no mention of those on the left who called former defense minister peretz a `murderer` and a `war criminal` during last years lebanon war. and this group included olmerts daughter. i dont condone either abuse, but if its one rule for one then you are going to get cries of unfairness. |
