Bill let me educate you a little more on regional politics as maybe you are not very aware of all facts or incidents here.
After Israel pulled out of Gaza, and with no provocation Hamas dug a tunnel under the Gaza border and killed several soldiers and kidnapped another one. I think in this scenario not only is Israel obliged to respond it must respond.
Secondly even when Hamas declared a Hudna they praised several suicide attaacks inside Israel i dont think you can take a peace process or Hudna seriously by these comments. Also it has been shown that during hudna Hamas operatives have been active in terror attacks.
You trust the Hamas hudna come and live here and maybe you will get a clearer picture than you have from Ireland.
It is interesting how much you know and you dont live here or follow the events closely evidently.
Omar i know a lot of civilians in Gaza and West Bank have been killed and i think it is awful, terrible, blood is blood whether jewish or arab.
