| The idea Meretz is the mirricle cure to Israels problems is an intelectual fantasy just the opposite is true. Meeretz refuse to accept that we are fighting a war with the palestians their attitude is give, give, give whatever they see surender as the best policy. They want to take Israel backwards economicly. The old socio economic policies that worked 60 years ago will only damage the economy today. Global economics where companies move around the world where they get the best deals has changed things reality & if Israel cant keep up by offering the right deals foreign investment will dry up. Global corporations dont care about fair they care about profit & if Israel isnt profitable for them they dont want to invest in Israel. Meretz wouldnt be anymore free from influence of other parties than Kadima the political system itself means that governments must rely on coalitions and if you want a coalition partner you have to pay their price if not they pull out & your government falls |
