| i`m very impressed by his unshakeable jewish identity and for "getting it right" about yiddishkeit. i have been very impressed by our bretheren from russia. a (newly) religious russian friend of mine told me that he went to a rally for israel and pro-palestinian protestors "crashed" the rally and put up pro-palestinian signs. the american jews there didn`t do much. the russian jews went, tore up the signs and told them to go home (which they promptly did). i was very proud. |
