do questions like "Caring about Israel is a very important part of my being a Jew." really tell you anything about the person`s commitment to israel?
"caring about israel" could mean having them give away their country to terrorists because they feel sorry about the "poor" palestinians. all "caring" means is that you feel you have the right to stick you nose into israel`s business.
these are silly questions that have no relationship to real commitment. how you use such a weak survey for drawing conclusions over generations is beyond comprehension.
empiric observation shows clearly that non-orthodox jewish commitment has plummeted. |
