| Perhaps there were two Intifadas, and the ongoing terrorist onslaught just isn`t to be called an "intifada". Why ? Because the first one was a fully Palestinian thing, and the second one started as such, and gradually degenerated into an Iranian one. Visibly from Karine A onwards, Iran was handling the terror against Israelis, and the fact suicide bombings have been thwarted almost completely, doesn`t render qassams, kidnappings of IDF soldiers or the massacre at Mercaz Jarav Yeshiva as an intifada but as Iran`s draining war against Israel, via Damascus, and by means of Hezballah, Hamas, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, PRC and Pal. Islamic Jihad. It has stopped being a Palestinian enterprise, and has become one made in Tehran with Palestinian pawns. Whatever this nightmare is, it is not an intifada because it is not a Palestinian thing, but an Iranian one. |
