| I still believe that Germany has the right to award any of their soldiers, as many other EU armies do. As a very organized country, Germany may look to find a way to honor their soldiers with another medal and leaving definitely the iron cross to be buried in the past. The Council of Jews in Germany has the right to claim for the iron cross award because Germany´s darkest history has to be certainly framed in time and a clear conscious for the society has to be built as well. How could that be done awarding not only a medal, but a wrong concept? |
