The picture to which you refer was taken in Ramallah, which has been under Israeli occupation for 40 years, not 60 as you wrote.
Even forty years is admittedly too long a time to be under the thumb - but what I think you fail to understand is that the Palestinians who ultimately control their own lives, not the Israeli Army. If the Palestinians decided today to stop the suicide bombings, the yeshiva attacks, and the rocket bombardment of Sderot - and instead decided to work peaceably and constructively with Israel toward the establishment of a democratic and prosperous Palestine - you would be amazed how quickly the Israelis would empty the gaols, embrace you and your fellows, and help you on your way.
It`s time to take the chip off your shoulder, stop blaming others for your circumstances, and start thinking constructively.
