You are mostly correct. Over the centuries, many of the characteristics of the people who returned to Israel to create a Jewish state may have changed because of centuries of that little old thing called sex. Don`t say you haven`t heard of it you religious nuts on this post. It exists, and people do it.
Some of the Y-chromosomes can trace back to --- no, not exactly Israel. They are common to the group who call themselves Jews, but also common to Egyptians and to Syrians and to Sicilians. So how do you prove you belong in Israel? You conquer. It`s simple. The Americans did it. The Israelis did it. But guess what - Ahmed is right. We all belong to the family of man. There ARE no separate creations, even if the Navajo and a lot of those Indian tribes in the US are constantly saying so, hanging onto their identities any way they can.
