But unfortunately Jason misses the point: and the point is to make the Holocaust such a singular act of evil, which it certainly isn`t, that it forever makes Jews unique victims, which they certainly aren`t. Make them special victims, then anybody who doesn`t accept that, say, anybody who criticizes the Jews for their treatment of Palestinians, is an antisemite. So the more things like Nazi memorabilia that`s illegeal to sell on Ebay, etc., etc., the more unique the Jews` suffering, the more antisemites there are. |
