| A multinational force is useless, it is only make-belief. Look at what happens with Hezbollah infiltrating south Lebanon. Will we shoot back endangering the multinational force in Gaza if missiles strike our cities, or will we ask them to count how many missiles have been fired? This idea is pure nonsense. A multinational force will not prevent Hamas from gathering weaponry for an attack, the timing of which they will choose in coordination with Hezbollah in the north. Those considering such a force are fools. They want to solve in the short term a problem that has to be considered in the long-term perspective of the safety and survival of the state. Again one of the public relation tricks of Olmert, fighting for his political survival, his top priority. |
