You are right about one thing only. The IDF, and more likely the IAF, will respond in the only way they know how - i.e. killing innocents and women and children from afar.
While the Palestinian resistance is not afraid to put their lives on the line to carry out attacks mano a mano, the same cannot be said for the Israeli Occupation Forces. The only reason there has not been a sustained ground offensive in Gaza derives from Israeli cowardice. They prefer to lob missiles into Gaza and use pilotless drones, so that more than half of the over 120 people killed in Gaza have been civilians. The Palestinian resistance, by way of contrast, have killed three soldiers and one civilian.
