#`s 1-3 are talking rubbish as they well know. The vast majority of British Jewry pay lipsevice and ransom to the United Synagogue in the mistaken belief that they will not be buried if they don`t. The vast majority of JFS pupils and their parents are not Orthodox, and the majority do not even keep Shabbat.
JFS is a State-funded school and not the private domain of the Chief Rabbinate of the United Synagogue, and admission should be open to all Jews subject to ability. It is high time this farce of chief Rabbi being the leader of ALL the Jewish Community in the UK was ended. Let`s hope British justice in this case will prevail, and do a great service to UK Jewry. |
