"Cinnamon Shops/The Street of Crocodiles" was required reading in my Slavic Literature class at The University of British Columbia ten years ago. I had a brilliang Polish professor who selected amazing books for us to read! Schulz, Gombrowicz, Borowski, Bulgakov - definitely one of the best literature classes I`ve ever taken! It was a year-long class, as well. :) While it seems like these Schulz paintings should be in Warsaw with the Schulz collection, I`m glad they will be protected somewhere.
