| This just goes to show Western ignorance about the Middle East. That the UN would allow such a terribly one-sided display of solidarity is ridiculous. And the fact that the Associated Press does not know the difference between the words Fatah and Fatiha is particualrly disturbing. (Fatah is the name of Arafat`s political party with the ironic meaning of "victory" and it is the Fatiha that is the opening section of the Qur`an) |
