| That is it, the Human Rights Commission was reorganized and `reinvented` in 2006 to become the HR Council, in order to better the serious problems the Commission had. We can now conclude that it was all in vain, the Council has completely lost its right to exist and should be abolished as soon as possible. Instead of an evenhanded, objective and fair human rights body that scrutinizes all human righst abuses everywhere, a number of states that are amongst the worst in human rights record, far worse then they claim Israel is, have now kidnapped the body to use it as a cheap propaganda tool. I do not agree with Israels` occupation and its tactics to keep it going, but you have to judge all situation in fairness and objectively, this is what the Council is blatantly lacking in being capable of. Goodbye Council, save us from your embarassing existence and do one good thing for once: vote yourself to the realms of history... |
