| 16 UNSC resolutions were passed before any concrete action was taken against Saddam and his dictatorship, which saw the deaths of hundreds of thousands, if not millions more Muslims (in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait). 25m people in Iraq were freed, albeit, their 35 years of anger towards one another has taken over. But this is Iran..with it`s huge Persian population, mainly under 35, and a large minority population. The obvious simpler answer to the Iran problem is for a regime change..allow for reforming their entire system, and stopping the enrichment. The other alternative, (most likely) is for high level bombings (by B1s B2, B-52s) and Cruise Missile attacks (preceded by bunker busters), of their 30 odd factories..which are manufacturing atomic bomb material (centrifuges, separation of gas, heavy water, warheads and long range missiles). While not ending Iran`s quest for nuke pariety forever, it will set them back at least 10 years..maybe requiring another massive strike? |
