| Israel is facing its greatest security threat in decades. This situation was predictable, especially since the Second Lebanon War. It has been obvious that Israel was slowly, methodically being encircled. Military Intelligence had warned of the smuggling of Iranian missiles into Gaza. Ahmadinejad, and other Iranian leaders have threatened Israel`s very existence. The present government has been unable, or unwilling to take these threats seriously. Israel needs new leadership, with fresh eyes and renewed determination. It is being reported that ambulances from Egypt are smuggling terrorists and weapons into Gaza. The breach of the Gaza border had for sole purpose to smugggle in Iranian missiles and other weapons. The government stood still, and did nothing. Any government must understand that the enemy it is facing is the country of Iran. The enemy is not a group of terrorists, but a country with sophisticated weapons, strategy, and evil goals. |
