| You obviously have not been following events too closely. This is just the latest in a series of events over the past 4 years in which Iraq has been falling under the Iranian sphere of influence. Iraq has previously agreed to send their oil to Iran for processing, thus giving Iran control over Persian Gulf production. Check out the March issue of The Nation. It has an interesting article titled "Is Iran Winning the Iraq War." |
