| Dear Brother in your statement, you made a serious and were also correct about one of your statements. you were correct in asserting that the Druze are Arabs. however, you should understand that the Druze are most certainly Muslims; and our religion is only Islam. dean al tawhid, or el muwahaddin, as we are known, is only a school of thought within Islam. I am Druze---through and through. my family all hail from the mountains and have proudly taken up arms against occupants of Muslim lands for centuries, among whom the Crusaders and French are included. I have been very fortunate to have read the works of Sayyed Abdullah, an old Druze Islamic sage, who instructed his students wisely to teach the people of the village by way of Qur`an and Sunnah. Anyone who claims otherwise is either lying or ignorant. I encourage you to also study the Noble Qur`an, as surely we all can benefit from its deep deep wisdom. Peace. |
