| Yesterday the "Arab News", an ever faithful source for the House of Saud party line, was silent. Today it is quite vocal. http://www.arabnews.com/ Most important is an editorial which does not address Gaza. It does show just how effective the Bush junta has been in alienating the region. http://www.arabnews.com/?page=7§ion=0&article=107396&d=2&m=3&y=2008 The fraud of Annapolis has become impossible for the Saudis to ignore. What effect this will have upon financing of Palestinian organization is not clear, but I suspect that the Kingdom will decide that it needs to counter Iranian influence in Palestine with more aid. |
