I support Kadima MK Tzahi`s Hanegbi`s assessment of the situation in Gaza. We have to look at it realisticly and to realize that one has to go in there determinedly to achieve and accomplish a purpose: the security of Israel`s citizens on the southern and Western Negev border. And overall, the chances of peace in the region. Tzahi has stated it succintly. You have to stay in there, and the Arabs themselves, politically have to get organized for something positive out of this outcome.
The ridgepole sags to the breaking point. The IDF has to take upon itself the responsibility
