The United States doesn`t worship God, it worships dead presidents. If organizers think that they will get less turnout on a particular day, then they avoid that day. If you notice, the NBA plays every Christmas and MLB plays on Easter whenever Easter falls within the season. NFL plays every Sunday.
In the US, decisions aren`t based on religion, they are based on cash.
The proper thing is not to accommodate this school, it is to not accommodate the Christians. If you accommodate Jews and Christians, should you not also accommodate Muslims by not having activities on Friday? |
