| The Jewish academy is not being denied the opportunity to play. It is refusing to play on Saturday and wants accommodations made. The United States has a 7 day work week, and athletics makes no exception. When I was in middle school, the only time that was off-limits was post 10pm as a start. At what point does it become favoritism to schedule so that religious conflict is avoided. To me, that would be the epitome of endorsing a religion. |
