| In the recent war in Lebanon, Israel killed about 1000 civilians while Hizbollah killed about 45. Although some of Israels supporters try to excuse these numbers by saying that Hizbollah targets civilians while Israel does not, the facts are quite the opposite. Israel engaged in precision bombing of apartment blocks in south Beruit, flattening much of that area. When you bomb apartment blocks, you are targetting civilians. The fact that it is done with precision instruments means that Israel hit what they aimed at. Hizbollah, on the other hand, had no precision aiming. Their "aim" consisted of pointing the rockets to the south. In any case, over two thirds of Hizbollahs victims in that war were IDF. This number shows that Hizbollah concentrated upon military targets. |
