The spectacle of American contenders for the highest office in the Free World grovelling in front of the American Jewish Lobby is painful to watch. American politicos do it routinely, without thinking. Someone should just take them to one side, point out that it isn`t necessary, that America`s interests would be better served by keeping Israel at a distance and advise them to maintain their dignity.
