| Every day I see many busses of private operators, not just those of the big bus cooperatives Egged and Dan. As there are Tel Aviv bus routes that are profitable on Shabbat too (just look at all the sherut cabs), this is a golden opportunity for these private operators to take over publiuc transportation in Tel Aviv on Shabbat. What we need in Israel is a bus company that does not depend on government subsidies (like Egged and Dan) and can run busses whenever and wherever it wishes. |
