| Beside the creation of Israel and the forced exile and the 40 years Occupation, Arafat was the worst thing that can happen to the Palestinians. A narcist fool, he put his ego and his personal interest and that of his family and friends ahead of the people. Failed to liberate, failed to build institutions, Arafat was a one man show, with all of his PLO and Fatah followers bunch of sheeps. God knows how many potential leaders he was responsbile for their death. He put his games ahead of the people`s interest. When he was outside, he never bothered to look after those inside, and he came inside, he never bothered to look after those outside. The PLO and Fatah were nothing and remained nothing but dukan for Arafat and his cronies. He had no respect for any one including his closets friends and he had no respect for the people and rightly so. They did not challenge him and throw him out and did not take actions for all his failures. |
